    Hi All,

I'm visiting from Hawaii and looking for an adventure buddy or group with experience in the area to go canyoneering with somtime during the next week. I'm new to the sport, but, have been rock climbing for a number of years. Based on what I've read, the class 3 canyons in the area sound like they would be reasonable for me to descend. I have some basic gear with me, 60m rope, slings, harness, ATC, etc.

If your're heading out and don't mind having me along, please let me know!

Hi Sky. Welcome to the group. Tough time of year to scrape up partners - but the weather sure is beautiful down here. C'mon folks, let's help this dude out. (Me, I am otherwise committed).

    Hey Tom,

Thanks for trying to rally the group! Hopefully something works out.

I'm planning to go down Subway on Friday, if anyone is up for that.

Probably doing something short like Keyhole/Pine Creek on Sunday (the 13th) if you're interested. Leave me a text at (760)914-1007 and I'll check it Sat night.

Decided to head out of town early and go check out some other areas. Had a great time and will definitely be coming back again.

Narrows, Subway, Keyhole, and Pine Creek.

Ended up going alone on all, it was actually great experience having the canyons entirely to myself most of the time.

No one in the Narrows, seems hard to believe.

Excuse me, I shouldn't have said entirely....yes, there were other people in the canyons, especially the bottom up sections of Narrows and Subway. Overall, most of the time, I didn't see or hear anyone. No need for pity.
