    Hey folks,

I'm escorting a few people to the North Wash/Cedar Mesa area in July, and since we have choosen a date in the middle of the blazing summer, I'm looking for the wettest canyons in that area. Beyond the Black Hole, Fry, Cheesebox and Gravel, what canyons in that area are relatively wet and can be counted on to generally, but of course conditions dependent, but probably, hold water?

thanks to RAM and Wyoming Dave for the shout-out a little while ago. Dave, I laughed at your description of me as an e-canyons lurker.... trip reports are slow from me but will come eventually. RAM, Audra loves the gloves.

Hey Jon, it was good to meet you. The Cedar Mesa Canyons you mention are the ticket. Aside from the Hole and Fry, it is not rare to find bad quality water in the others. Don't forget to take a swim down on the Colorado River off of 95 or even better, down Hite way. The lake is not that far down anymore. Mostly, start early, hide midday and exit out late. The campsites up toward Natural Bridges in the 74-78 mile marker range tend to be cooler and depending on the angle of your site, loses PM sun behind the mesa

Her enthusiasm is infectious. Have a great time and give us a conditions report at the least and a TR if inclined. Safe Passage. R
