With the intent of preserving a historical record of previous explorations, I would like to present some information on a few technical slots found in upper West canyon. I feel it is important to pay respect to those who previously explored these canyons. If anyone has further historical information that is not presented here, I invite you to share the info on this thread. This information is shared with the consent of those involved.

By way of beta, the attached GPS points are for reference only and do not note the exact drop in spot. The only real beta you need to know is that I wouldn't enter these canyons unless you are ready for some stemming, many potholes, and advanced anchoring techniques. A full complement of fiddlesticks, sandtraps, and waterpockets recommended, as their conditions vary wildly based on water levels. Enjoy!

Originally explored in 2001. Upon returning in September 2015, the crew got to a drop with a difficult anchor problem and remembered that they had placed a bolt at this drop over a decade prior. The original name was forgotten, thus the name Amnesia was born.

Spectacular finish onto a section of upper West the size of a football field that is covered in sand. Canyon was explored June 2015. Edit: added photo of the 20-25 foot deep pothole.

One problem after another. This canyon is busy. Perhaps some of the biggest potholes in the area. Also explored in September 2015. Another descent was noted in September 2016.
