Seasonal Canyoneering Closures
Capitol Reef National Park
Effective immediately through August 31, 2022, the following canyoneering routes are closed to protect sensitive resources in the areas:

• Cassidy Arch Canyon
• Na-Gah
• Timpie
• Nighthawk
• Any route that descends into Cassidy Arch or Shinob Canyons

CLOSURE UPDATE: Cassidy Arch Canyon reopened

• Burro Wash (From the drainage head continuing east 2 miles.)
• Fivemile Wash (From the drainage head continuing east 2 miles.)

Any route that descends into Shinob Canyon to include:

• Na-Gah
• Timpie
• Nighthawk
