Made in Arizona, the flat-water packraft is particularly well-suited to descending slot canyons and exploring alpine lakes.
It's great to see the recognition for Supai Adventure Gear. Aaron and Shannon set out to solve a very hard problem in making a reliable 'super light' packraft. The design work that went into the project, and the tooling that was constructed to make these boats cost effectively, is really impressive. And my back feels a lot better when I'm hauling one! These boats were initially used in Grand Canyon to escape from slots, but now I'm seeing photos from Black Canyon and even around Lake Powell. In fact, I think Tom Jones may have pioneered the use of a packraft for pothole escape. They're proving to be a pretty useful tool. Kudos to the Supai folks!!! Rich
