  1. The stretches are actually the ones that YOU are making, not me. " So, you're calling MK anti-semetic?" First of all, no one said anyone was anti semetic. I said that the letter smacked of anti semetism- that it sounded anti semetic, whether or not it was intended to be so. And it does. The letter doesn't say that the US support for Israel (continued over 60 years) was the biggest mistake that this presidency could make- he said the mistake was that he appointed a Jewish individual as chief of staff. You are trying desperately to find a rationalization for this statement- But it doesn't really matter how many countries a man has traveled to, what his "different political world view" is, nor necessarily where he comes from. He said flat out that that the appointment was a terrible mistake because of the mans religion. The dictionary, and most of the world, calls that bigotry. Spin away. But while you are having so much fun with your flamethrower and your obscure rock references, try to keep at least one foot on the ground.

Plant a seed, watch it grow. You a big fan of "push polling"?

And then you said you were just calling a spade a spade (interesting use of words).

You're inferring it. Did you agree or disagree with the criticism leveled at Chris Buttars for his comments made, "This baby is black, I'll tell you. This is a dark, ugly thing"? Folks playing along can look up Buttars in wikipedia for reference.

That comment "smacked" of racism, and Buttars apologized for it. Your comment that MK's editorial "smacked" of anti-Semitism implies that you think MK is a bigot. I think that's a stretch.

    > He said flat out that that the appointment > was a terrible mistake because of the mans religion.

He said no such thing. He said Rahm is Jewish and that his father was born in Israel, etc. Said absolutely nothing about religion. You made that stretch, for whatever reason.

What I think MK was pointing out is that Rahm has strong ties to Israel.

My bet is that you don't like Kelsey. That clouds your judgment. And, you'll go to great lengths to discredit, or, smear the man.

This "smacks" of a smear campaign by you, against MK.

Both my feet are firmly planted. It's you that are twisting in the wind.

This all has what to do with canyoneering? I'd rather talk about bolts than watch a pissing match about politics.

Why don't we talk about Rich's cool, though enormous new tool?

Why don't we talk about the merits of nude canyoneering...does Brez still monitor?

What about armchair anchor building or hypothetical exploration reports?

Is all we have time or motivation to do argue about whether Rick hates gays, Brian hates Mormons, or Kelsey hates Jews? Gimme a break. You all like Captain Morgan...why not settle on that and go get drunk around a campfire so I can steal your gear?

Even at least my, Tom, and Stefans 3 rounds on global warming had something to do with canyoneering.

Oh you mean about the rumor that the Mindbender bolts have been removed? Or that the dust around those bolts seemed fresh on page 92 of the new Kelsey guide, leading one to think maybe....gasp....he put them in? Is there alleged removal a Jewish plot because I may know about it!...just kidding folks....about most of it.

    > Why don't we talk about Rich's cool, though enormous new tool?

Can't. Haven't been trained yet. He is in Asia, but I am gonna get one. Maybe we can serve the Capt. Morgan on it? Dude! Life is too short for blended booze.

    > Why don't we talk about the merits of nude canyoneering...does Brez still monitor?

This might get ya moderated! The horror. Actually I am going into DDI on Saturday, fully aware that there is a short swimmer right before the last rap, after hours of stemming. Not carrying a suit. goin NEKID! Skin drys very fast. Lots of poison ivy right after that. Now that would be bold!!

    > What about armchair anchor building or hypothetical exploration reports?

Armchairs are NOT natural. Hypothetical exploration? Explore the possibility that Rhett may NEVER get out again after becoming a daddy recently? Oh and happy birthday to the Emperor, Ryan C. and Wyo Dave this week

I would tell ya to put up something rather than complaining, but...you did. Loved the Pandora TR. How about someone else? Rescue us from ourselves and our boredom?

  5. Israel doesn't border the dead sea? I thought he walked along there all the time?

The transition from sarcasm into a true statement was a bit confusing. Yes, both share borders on the Sea. Yes good canyons on the Jordanian side
