(Still) Alive 2017 - The Trip Report

    Thanks for the quick response. This is helpful information. Do you have any thoughts on a canyon that we should consider as a backup?

    Keyhole, Pine Creek, and Echo were the only snack canyons I did in Zion; everything else was rather long. I played around in Diana's Throne nearby, which is a nice outing (But I'd sooner just re-run Pine Creek).

    I didn't do Birch Hollow, but folks say that's a nice, not-too-long canyon in the area.

    Maybe someone else has a good 1/2 day suggestion?

    Snack Size: Lower Fridge, Jolley Gulch, Keyhole, Middle Echo.

    You might like The Wedge but lots of downclimbing might not be good for beginners, and elbow and knee pads quite useful. Also, the anchor for the 100' rappel is not beginner-simple. Email or pm me if you want beta.
