Hi CC! I'll be in Vegas in early Jan, but I won't have my technical gear.

Do you wise and well-travelled folks have any recommendations for good canyons in Red Rock or nearby? Something nice and slotty, maybe?

Do you have a wetsuit? If not, the non-technical canyons around the Hoover Dam might be better. First Creek in the Red Rocks might be possible without a wetsuit if it isn't too wet.

The Anniversary Narrows near Lake Mead would be good too if access isn't a problem.

Lots of great wandering up the main escarpment canyons at Red Rocks. Pine Creek. Ice Box... plenty of stuff out there.
