My kids thought they were so clever...although I do admit I can't even remember laughing so hard on rappel as I did when then all started singing a bad Miley Cyrus song to me.

And my apologies for not adding a disclaimer in my post. If you haven't seen the Wrecking Ball video...don't, or at bare minimum have copious amounts of eye bleach on hand.

is the gentlemans harness SERIOUSLY in need of tightening ??
or is he using a loop to put his descender device in a position he is more comfortable with ?
I would (politely) volunteer that,
'soft tissue compression' may account for what appears to be a loose harness
(happens to many of us, meaning me at least...)

Where did you get that picture? I can't remember that one. And don't make fun of my boat rope, if we didn't have that rope we would have been in a real pickle. That's still the coldest damn night I've ever experienced in my life.... fun times...
I had a camera but only took ~20 shots, most of 'em junk. Here's one of you on R1, still looking fairly happy...and yes, I was grateful for the lightweight and poo-free nature of the boat rope.
