    Update:

    I have now done ~50 Funter-raps on a variety of ropes, ranging from very supple (brand new 8mm dynamic) to the other pole (well-used ICG Canyon Fire, fully cable-ized). Original impression is holding up - and still amazed at the lack of twist. The "report with numbers" is postponed until January. Sorry for the delay - hordes of Funter fans must be sorely disappointed.

    Any observations on rope twist (or other aspects) from your usage, @Mountain Boy ?

    And you can always bump-up the friction by adding another leg to get a "super munter"
