Online NPP Sales & Fee Demo

  1. Here is the website where you can purchase the National Parks Pass (NPP)

    http://buy.nationalparks.org/default.org

Anyone offering the National Parks Pass (NPP) at anything less than $50.00 is eating the discount. The sale is actually another way to ask the buyer to continue to shop at the vendor for other products. On the website there is a box for a special code that someone can find on advertisements of certain vendors/products. Again, the company eats the difference in price from $50.00 and whatever they decide. All funds collected through the website go to the general fee demo fund to assist those parks that do not sell passes.

If you click on the section where it mentions funding of projects there are four examples of projects that have been funded with 70% monies. So yes, if you purchase your parks pass or the 7-day ($20) pass at Zion NP then 70% and 80% respectively stay in the park.

One final item on projects. Parks are required to develop Statements of Work for their projects and are prioritized at a higher level. When a park's project hits the top of the list the funds are provided and the project is begun.

Questions? Please feel free to email sidebar or on the sites.
