Off Topic-5280 Magazine-Climbing the Colorado 14ers in Winter

For those that read 5280 Magazine:‎

5280 Magazine did an article on me climbing the Colorado 14ers (peaks that are over 14,000 feet) in winter. At least that was what the story was supposed to be about.

Well, I just read the article and was horrified. It was horribly inaccurate and there were many quotes in there attributed to me that I didn't say and never would. It also seems to portray events that never happened. Theyalso royally mixed up the route information, taking people on routes that I never suggested for winter ascents.

Unfortunately, the article has my name on and it appears that I am listed as the primary source.

If any of you have read the article, please understand that they either embellished or got their sources crossed.

I have written two long letters refuting the article and asking for corrections.
