It's plain to me that we are very much alike.

    Tacking short loops.

I'm waiting for more webbing to come this week so I can get the rest of these stitched up.

Stitched up a dozen or so toggles/pegs/fiddles. Included with every Waterpocket purchase as it is a key component of the system.

Stitched with durable 12mm Dyneema with two isolated loops for clipping in and backing up the stone knot.

They are 3/8" polycarbonate with the paper left on so you have the delight of peeling it off to reveal its crystalline clarity right before you go scratch the living daylights out of it in one canyon.

I'm posting a bunch of pictures of the Waterpocket in use.

I will ask that any discussion of other anchors be moved to a new thread. From here on out, I'd like this thread to be dedicated to the Waterpocket and relevant discussion. Techniques, observations, questions, commentary all welcome here.

    By way of disclaimer:

The Waterpocket is an effective, efficient, low impact tool when applied correctly and wisely. Otherwise, it can be a great way to get yourself or someone else hurt or killed.

It is not foolproof. It requires skill and judgment to use correctly.

I've opened them up for sale for a more general market. Please be smart.

If you have any, please feel free to post any picture you have of the Waterpocket being used.

Some of the photos used here have been contributed by other members, if I have posted a photo of yours that you would like for me to not use, please let me know.

Please ask questions. Not all of these pictures are of ideal placements. But, every one of them was done without incident.
