Looking to snag Neon in a couple weeks, the last report on Canditions.com reports it being pretty full but that's about a month ago now and it's been hot and dry out there. Just hoping to have a good sense of what to expect with those potholes, because they can be a breeze when full but nasty beasts when the water is lower. Going with a mixed group, all have good rope and climbing skills but not all are experienced specifically in canyons so as one of the more experienced people I'd just like to have a sense of what to expect. Especially since I've yet to get down this canyon!

The nasty keeper near the end has considerable sand in the bottom, such that it is easily escapable at all water levels. The sand might be washed out by a BIG flood, but small T storms are unlikely to change the sand level much.
