Is this even a thing to be concerned with? Or will this snowball out of control before I know it?
    Used twice 9.2 canyonero.
    Thoughts?

This does not look like a coreshot starting, instead it looks like "core-fluff". We see this once in a while on our ropes and cut it out as a defect*, I am pretty sure it does not effect the safety of the rope in any way. It seems to be a small amount of core fibers that got loose and popped through the sheath somewhere along the line... perhaps when you used the rope and flexed it under load.

I would be glad (well, not unhappy) to replace the rope to you if you are uncomfortable with using it.

*added: Meaning, we cut that section out of the rope, and end up with odd cut pieces.
