My son and I got away for a quick trip to do Leprechaun right fork and Monkey Business on Saturday Sept 29. Perfect temperatures and windy enough to keep it comfortable in the slots.
    1st rappel into Leprechaun.

It is discouraging to see our impact in the canyons. We were able to easily down climb past this rappel with all the rope grooves and then use a hand line from a deadman for the second drop.

    Fun canyon.

    Drop into Monkey Business
    DSCF1157. DSCF1158.

An incredibly skinny drop into a section that only my 75 pound son could do. DSCF1162.

Me standing on top of what my son went down into. I bridged over this section and dropped in where it was wider. Is this a "R" type move? DSCF1164.

    Beautiful canyon below MB. IMG_0385.

The exit for MB was a chore. There is always a price to pay. IMG_0397. IMG_0394.

We had a great day in North Wash. He asked if he could drive my truck on the dirt road which IMG_0400. was probably the highlight of the trip for him and the scariest part of my day.

Beautiful! I was thinking there was a chance it’d be wet. Been seeing lots of weather down there.

There were two potholes that had knee/thigh deep water in Monkey Business.
