Interesting Article. Cutting the anchor instead of a lower

    I see a lot of emphasis on converting to lowers, contingencies, etc but haven't seen as much info on the techniques stated in this article. In the event that you haven't rigged for contingency, I can see where there are some very valuable points in here, especially dealing with plus size canyoneros.

    Thanks for sharing - we try and build TTP's - whether for anchor building, descending, systems, or hasty rescues into a P-A-C-E methodology (Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency) - this is valuable for specific contexts.
