Just finished a new batch of POT STICKERS and decided to run a couple tests.
First we fill one with the max amount of sand- about 25 lbs worth.

    pot sticker fill.

Next, we start hucking the full POT STICKER off our lift, from about 22 and 1/2 feet up...

    pot sticker drop.

    pot sticker intact.
Because the main seams are sewn with 100 lb spectra thread, nothing happens (no damage).
So after 20 cycles dropping and throwing the bag at different angles, we get bored and move on...
    to the break test!

    pot sticker pull.

The same POT STICKER, full of sand, at 2,000 lbs static load.
And ultimately, how strong was the POT STICKER?

Rapterman, would it be possible for you to edit your images before posting? They're exceptionally large (in terms of bytes). It took 10 minutes for this page to load over a 1.5Mbps T-1.

Thanks for your POT STICKER comments! (will fix file sizes!)
The problem (historically speaking) with SOME of this type of bag (NOT Pot Stickers!) is that when falling from a drop (with sand in them) the seams can burst on impact.
The ONLY way we have found to prevent this, in addition to the cross straps, is to sew the side seams with
100 lb SPECTRA thread. Nylon or polyester thread by itself cannot withstand the forces.
While the 'end to end' tensile strength of 5,000 lbs is a little over the top, it does show that you can ascend or descend on
    a POT STICKER...
As long as it is thoroughly STUCK!
    Best, Todd

Todd - Thanks for testing the durability of the POT STICKER and providing confirmation that it can be ascended/rappelled on. I never doubt the quality of your products. Now how about those canyon packs?????????:D

    Sigh....
The production samples are complete (and tested!).
All the webbing has been cut for the first 100 units. The fabric is all cut and clicker punched (all the little holes)
We are creeping up on production but my lead on the ICE CUBE PACKS has now developed carpal tunnel...
 What a year its been...

And a tacit indicator that maybe you're too close to the fumes?? Give the man some air!
