    Hello... first time poster here.

A little context about me: I'm not a climber. I have some packrafting experience in Alaska, and fairly extensive high route experience in the mountain west. I have only been to the Grand Canyon once, and completed the Escalante Route without too much fuss.

Anyway, I'm hoping to identify a Grand Canyon route where I can make use of a lightweight dinghy (Klymit) - flatwater only.

The ideal (not sure if it exists) is a 40 mile non-technical loop with 1-2 packraft segments that add up to 8 miles. Bonus points if there's beach camping or access to a lonely side-canyon with a perennial creek. Oh yes, and top-flight scenery is non-negotiable.

Am I unicorn hunting? Suggestions are welcome even if they don't meet all the above criteria.

I highly suggest posting in the Grand Canyon Hikers and Backpackers group on FB. Lots of experienced and knowledgeable folks over there who can point you in the right direction. https://www.facebook.com/groups/GCHBA/
