Rope/pull cord with associated carabiner from the last drop of Imlay, ZNP. Feelin' a lotta homemade dog leashes comin on..
I can only hope that this biner will serve to illustrate why I-beam (3D) construction carabiners are

An assortment of colors from miscellaneous Zion canyons
And some from Rock canyon...
Black webbing is new to me. I went with tan webbing thinking it would blend in more... looks like I need to order some more.
My claim, somewhat supportable, is that we have suggested using color-matched webbing for a long time, and that this has not worked. I think a very-specific rule (use black webbing only) could be successful. Black is ALWAYS a natural color.

Did a quick Spry a few days ago... this most of the extraneous webbing we pulled out of there.
I think they were filming a truck commercial in there... 5 wraps of 1" tubular around the big tree would be worth about 20,000 pounds.
Some goodies from misery canyon. We were convinced they were leaving it all behind as bread crumbs. This is less than half of the trash/bottles/wrappers we carried out, along with half of a trekking pole.
Dinosaur NM cleanup June 2018. Observe the purple cut girth hitch on the red...
