    2016 Board of Directors Election
    Call out for candidates

It’s election time! Are you interested in joining a team of canyoneers fighting for continued access to our canyons along with conservation, education and safety? Now is the time to get involved. We have four positions open with four incumbents seeking re-election. We encourage anyone interested in helping us promote canyon access, conservation, education, and safety to run for a board position in 2016. The next two years will be an exciting time to serve as we have several access and conservation projects pending. Some special skill sets we’d like to add to the team is marketing, communications, fundraising and but most importantly anyone who has passion for canyoneering.
Send a short bio, why you should be considered for a position on the board and a picture prior to July 20, 2016 to board.election@americancanyoneers.org.

2016 Board of Directors’ Election Results

The Coalition of American Canyoneers would like to announce the 2016/2017 Board of Directors. The 2016 election has been waived in lieu of appointments due to the number of positions available and candidates.

Kevin Krause will be joining the CAC Board. Kevin Krause will be taking Lori Shindel’s position who is resigning her board position but not her support nor work with CAC.

Hank Moon, Sonny Lawrence, Steve Ramras (Ram), and Rich Rudow have been appointed to another term. Rick Demarest, John Diener, Mike Zampino and Alane Urban round out the CAC board of directors.

Join CAC. Your membership makes a difference and it's free! We regularly deal with land managers, national park officials, and politicians. The broader our membership base the greater our impact. http://www.americancanyoneers.org/join-now/
