Canyoneering Grand Junction Trip Report

    My son and I did some canyons around Grand Junction yesterday. The narrows were short, but they were pretty nice. Although none of the canyons would be on the top 10 list, if you combine all three it makes a worthwhile trip. These ones are in the vicinity of Rough Canyon.

    As a fellow grand valley dweller I am curious if these are the canyons in the area of shaylee birthday canyon?

    Yes, they are. The canyons are Shaylee's Birthday Canyon, Not Shaylee's Birthday Canyon, Hippo Frog, and what I call Hidden Canyon.

    Each slot is maybe 100 yards long, but you can get your bang for buck if you combine 3 or 4 of them.
