Has anyone made a route out of this. Bullion Falls? Looks like it would be amazing quick and Beautiful. I just bet you could get a half mile of technical out of the route.
@qedcook If its got falls I'm in. If you have any time mid week I have an odd schedule and can probably go if you give me some advance notice to switch things around. I'm off the 18th and 20th next week for sure and might be able to shift those dates if another day works better, but my weekends are taken for the near future.
i am so down. Question is would one start the route right at the top of bullion or is there something more up top from that yet. I wonder if cascade falls is the same creek? then looks like maybe 2 drops after the main falls. A good looking canyon section as well. lemme start looking at my schedule as well how cold is water? 3/2 work? prolly if it's a quick jaunt which i imagine it can be.
3/2 might work, depends on how long the route is, I wear a 4/3 for pretty much everything I do. Since it's an exploration I say we go up as high as we have time for. @wisconnyjohnny what days do you have open in the near future? I can make most days work if I have a week or two notice to trade shifts around, the only days in the near future that are for sure out are 21-23.
I'm always down for waterfall rappels! Only available fri-sun though, and the 21-23 are out for me as well.
i have the 21st and 22nd off! Let's do this and finish early so i can drink PBR haha! I prolly should start reading a bit of topo to see if cascade falls is the same creek. if so the hike in directly from miners park could get us on top there and we could follow it down untill it's shallow enough to climb out as from the bullion falls and Down canyon 1/4 mile looks like the fun wet cold sorta dark part! lemme know what ya think and if ya find out before me about cascade falls being part of same creek. I'm off to kanab for tha day.
Sorry, you misunderstood my post, the 21-23rd are the only days that I know I can't get out of work. Anything else I can probably trade shifts around with a little advance notice or I might already have off.
This is section that I am talking about above!! I have also looked at the Cascade Creek part that is much steeper. They are on my scouting list for next summer.
