I've been to that spot on the lake several times, but never at a water level this low. I've never seen that beach. What an idiotic place to camp! It's very obvious a big slot canyon ends right above your camp.

I was just down there again this last week camping in Forgotten Canyon and we had an exciting hour watching boats as another storm front (not quite this violent) moved through.

    Glad everyone is all right.

I couldn't believe how much debris is currently in the lake. I've never seen so much. We went swimming up into Driftwood canyon and had to "break trail" through literally 2-6 inches of pine and cactus needles floating on top of the water for at least 100 yards. The top 1/4-1/2 mile of lake in Forgotten was inaccessible to any boat due to one of the largest concentrations of log soup I've ever seen.
