Great canyons and a gorgeous spring day!

We woke up near Price to 15 degrees, but by the time we made it past Hanksville it had warmed to 40-55 degrees for the rest of the day. A perfect time of year to do these dry canyons, in my opinion, because the approach isn't too hot but the canyons aren't too cold.

There were 4 in our party- I've been canyoneering for 1 year, and the others have experience trad climbing and setting up anchors. Even though the 2 sports are similar, they were out of their comfort zones as we did the first few downclimbs and stems but became more brave as the day wore on. All of the rappels at both canyons already had webbing set up and we had no problems route findings. Our beta said there's a semi-keeper in Hogwarts that you have to stem over- that was completely dry.

Again, couldn't ask for better weather or better company!
