BETA~Mystery Canyon

    Dick, I hiked Observation Point on Sat 5th, and it was snowing pretty hard but you can be assured it will all be melted off real soon. You may find a few patches on the slope going down but IMHO it will all be a go! The river was running real low and I'm pretty sure the amount of snow rcvd. won't make much differ. I went and tried to hike Shear Canyon yesterday, but w/o a map I got into the canyon just N and W of Shear. It was still very nice though with a couple med size dryfalls, some nice slickrock formations and plenty of wildlife signs. If I were off work on Sat. I would shuttle you N/C. If my plans change I'll let you Know. Bo
