Had the opportunity to take a tour through Antelope Canyon and was astounded by the curvature that has been left from the tremendous flow of water that races through here on a regular basis. The drainage for this dry wash is over 430,000 acres. When the wash floods the leading edge hits the south entrance and depending upon the push behind it, races up the canyon walls and routinely goes over the top of the canyon. Woody was our guide and works for Overland Canyon Tours. He has vested interest in the canyon,as he was the first non-Navaho allowed to guide into the canyon over 30 years ago. Originally he had a 99 year lease but as the area became more popular he had to give up the lease. He was a hoot to listen to and I would highly recommend using him if you ever go into the canyon. I've posted three pics and will post a link later to the rest of them. See Antelope Canyon.
